John Trapp

This is the church in Weston-on-Avon where John Trapp served in the 17th century.

After several decades of reading the Bible, I’ve come to feel a deep gratitude for the Puritan author John Trapp. His writings have accompanied me almost daily—especially in the mornings—since I began to take God’s call to steward my time more seriously. That is why this book will make frequent use of footnotes inspired by his commentaries.

I hope this also serves as an invitation for you to discover how his insights might enrich your own daily time in Scripture.
