Easily, by intentional intellectual and spiritual transformation. By giving up, as much as possible, the distractions that are killing valuable hours each day, and by concentrating on reading seminal authors, the Bible, and Bible commentators. By memorizing the Bible in any language we find exciting and useful. By listening with obstinacy to the great minds—or watching them—on internet platforms. Not wasting time on authors who do not resonate with us, even if they are called “world experts.” Probably by identifying those authors who do not comply with the rules of political correctness, but who confront it when it contradicts plain thinking. By keeping a record of “commonplaces”—quotes that spoke to our heart and mind—which we need to write down and keep, in order to recall them whenever needed. Strangely enough, even the lyrics of music can confirm the surprises we learn about life every day, though on a smaller scale.
