A common and serious mistake is to consider the topic of God as simplistic or childish. This attitude, initially promoted by certain atheistic thinkers, has been gradually adopted and perpetuated over the centuries. As a result, questions about aspects of faith that remain mysterious—such as the existence of human races—are often asked with a tone of irony or disdain. Believers, on the other hand, engage with such questions seriously, while being aware of the widespread neglect of obedience to the Commandments. The ancient Latins used to say, “Do not speak of God without light.” There is a necessary reverence we must uphold when speaking about Him, as we acknowledge our human frailty in contrast to His majesty.
