Wisdom often appears to “evolve” from more worldly forms—such as those mentioned above—or it funnels from a wide range of experiences toward the one kind of wisdom that truly matters: the wisdom that is necessary. Every stage of life has its own form of wisdom.


Young people should learn how to manage their financial and temporal resources.
Young parents ought to focus on raising their children well and stewarding their possessions, careers, and relationships with care.


But it is in the age of maturity that one should primarily turn to understanding life in a deeper way—by gathering the lessons of personal experience and interpreting them through the lens of Scripture.
